Mentoring form
What is Mentoring?
Mentoring is a brain to pick, an ear to listen and a push in the right direction. Mentors are: "many things - a positive role model, an adviser, an experienced professional. Somebody from outside a person's immediate circle taking a special interest can make an enormous difference." (Excellence in Schools, 1997).
Become a Mentor
Mentoring is ideal for team leaders, new and emerging managers, for experienced managers or anyone who wants to enhance their leadership, management and communication skills whilst at the same time gaining experience in the community and outside their workplace. Complete the online enquiry form.
Mentees:
We have developed collaborative relationships with key agencies supporting young people 18-24 on their journey to independence and successful adult lives. Our programme is targeted at those young people who need extra support to gain skills and insight into the world of work. For further information about referrals contact bill@bhbcp.org.uk. Matches are for a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 6 months.

Ongoing Support:
Ongoing support for our mentors is a vital ingredient enabling ongoing learning and peer support. We provide monthly meetings, often themed, plus an on-line discussion forum via LinkedIn.
Fees:
Our fees include all costs associated with matching, training and ongoing support throughout your engagement. Reduced rates apply to multiple places. For each 10 business places we offer 2 places at reduced rates to the not-for-profit sector. Mentees costs of £500 per person are met by grants and donations.
