Hillside School is a small community of 60 pupils aged between 5 and 16 years old who have severe and profound learning difficulties. The team from BUPA International got involved with this particular project because they were looking to effectively help the local community in a way that would utilise their particular skills.

Maximus at The Sussex Deaf Association

The organisation has been running since 1905 and although it supports hundreds of service users each year, it struggles to find funding to maintain the services. A recent event with BCP saw the transformation of their garden from a dull and lifeless plot of land into a vibrant area, where clients can now plant, grow, learn and communicate.
