Nido go wild in the Jungle at Honeycroft
Nido marketing recently spent the day at Honeycroft under 5's Centre painting a jungle themed mural onto three walls. Honeycroft gave the team of volunteers the opportunity to help improve the lives of some children by literally making their day brighter by decorating an area of the centre.
Honeycroft is an integrated nursery and treats all its children equally. They exist to provide for the needs of ALL children up to the age of 8 and their families. The nursery wanted to reinvent an area for the children where physical activities take place and Nido were just the team to do this. They designed a jungle mural and then set about painting it completely transforming the area with spectacular results that they children are absolutely delighted with. The difference they made in just one day was remarkable and the area has now come to life for the children. Once the climbing equipment is in place it will probably be the most popular area for the children to play in.
Alastair Digby the Marketing Manager for Nido said "As a company this challenge not only gave us a chance to do some good in the community but it also provided us with a fantastic team building exercise. It was a chance to get out the office and use our creativity as well as having some fun and helping others. We hope that we have given the centre an area where the children can imagine they are in the jungle and let their imaginations run wild! The children seemed especially impressed with the lion peering round the corner!".
Kathleen Brown one of the Nursery Assistants at Honeycroft adds "I think the work the Nido team have done is fantastic. The Children are really enjoying their new jungle play area".
