Brighton Community Compost Centre get their heads around finance
Brighton Community Compost Centre (BCCC) is a social enterprise that offers households and businesses a new and sustainable, environmentally low-impact garden/green waste recycling facility.
The project needed some advice from an accountant to untangle a complicated funding bid, so BCP put them in touch with local accountancy firm McPhersons Walpole Harding.
"Keith quickly gave apt advice that perhaps would have taken hours and hours do extract from finance literature, and even then an experienced eye can spot easy mistakes that the other does not. The support allowed us to more confidently finalise and submit an important funding bid in time to meet its tight deadline". Jon Walker, Brighton Community Compost Centre.
"As friendly local Accountants, we wished to support BCP's excellent aims to make enriching connections between businesses and community organisations. I have thoroughly enjoyed liaising with fellow members and sharing our passions/expertise. Big respect and thanks to all at BCP". Keith Holman of McPhersons Walpole Harding.
