This is how we work:
- We support relationships between equals. We emphasise that organisations contributing resources or skills to the community have something to gain, just as community projects looking for support have something to offer.
- We are a member-led organisation. This means that we are responsive to the priorities and needs of the organisations that join us.
- It's all about what you do. Our projects are successful when everyone involved shares a sense of achievement.
We express our values by bringing businesses, social enterprises, voluntary organisations, community groups, decision makers, entrepreneurs and policy makers together to share resources and build a thriving, sustainable economy that supports everyone in the community
We operate as a social enterprise, which means that we are funded by membership subscriptions and consultancy as well as charitable grants. Our central Brighton office is staffed by a core team of experienced, highly dedicated, friendly people who manage our CSR programmes and organise the best networking events in town.
